About The Village Roofing

We are a roofing company that puts the scope and the price in writing before anyone starts work. You see what we found, what we plan to do and what could change the number, so the decisions about your home stay with you.

How we approach a roof

Most of our work starts with a conversation and a careful look at the roof itself. We walk the slopes and check the flashing around chimneys and vents. Where we can, we look at the decking from the attic, and we take photos of anything worth discussing. Those photos come back to you with the estimate, so you are looking at the same shingles we were.

The estimate is written line by line. It covers tear-off, underlayment, ice and water barrier at the valleys, drip edge, ventilation, flashing, the shingle you chose, the permit and disposal. If some decking might turn out soft once the old roof is off, we say so up front and write down how that would be priced. You should not discover a new charge halfway through the job.

Our work covers roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters for homeowners, along with commercial roof repair and commercial roof replacement. When a repair will serve you well for years, we tell you so, even when a full replacement would be the bigger job for us.

What you can expect from us

  1. 01

    Scope in writing first

Nothing starts until you have a written scope and price in hand. If the roof turns out different from what we expected, we stop, show you, and get your approval before the work or the cost changes.

  2. 02

    An honest repair-or-replace answer

A roof with a few lifted tabs and a cracked pipe boot often needs a repair, not a new roof. We explain the condition of what is there and what each option gives you over time.

  3. 03

    Materials chosen with care

Central Oklahoma sees hail and strong spring winds, so we talk through impact-rated shingles, nailing patterns and underlayment with you. The finish should look right from the street and hold up through the next storm season.

  4. 04

    Respect for your property

We cover plants and beds, protect siding and windows during tear-off, and sweep the lawn and driveway with magnets for stray nails at the end of each day.

Where we work

Our crews take on roofs across The Village, Oklahoma, and the towns around it: Nichols Hills, Warr Acres, Oklahoma City, Bethany, Edmond, Midwest City, Yukon, Del City, Piedmont and Spencer. A house a few miles out gets the same treatment as one down the street, with an itemized written estimate you can read through before anything begins. You will find more about each town on the Service Areas page.

Tell us what your roof is doing

A stain on the ceiling, shingles in the yard after a storm, or a roof that is simply getting old: describe what you are seeing. We will set a time to look at it and follow up with a written estimate you can read at your own pace.
